A Different Kind Of Animal Shelter
FORGOTTEN FELINES, INC is a private, all-volunteer, 501c3 organization in Westbrook, CT, serving 11 towns along the Connecticut River and shoreline. We rescue homeless cats and kittens, care for them in our no-kill shelter and work to find them loving, adoptive homes.
Our service area includes Centerbrook, Chester, Clinton, Deep River, Essex, Guilford, Ivoryton, Killingworth, Madison, Old Saybrook, and Westbrook.

Attention All Essex Bank Customers: Forgotten Felines Needs Your Vote!
Forgotten Felines, Inc. has been selected for the 2026 Essex Bank’s Community Investment Program customer ballot. Each year, the Bank pledges up to 10% of its after-tax net income to non-profit 501(c)(3) organizations operating in selected towns.

Voting begins today, February 1, 2026 and concludes February 28, 2026
If you are not a customer, you can open an account with EB to participate. To vote, customers can log into their Essex Bank online account or visit any of their branches for a paper ballot. We appreciate your votes in support of Forgotten Felines.

SILLY SAMMY
Funny and animated Sammy is full of antics and quite entertaining. This handsome 3½ year old tabby will keep you on your feet, as he performs tricks and plays with his toys. Sammy can be a little shy at first, but warms up quickly for a game of interactive playtime. He is quick on his feet and quick to draw
attention. When Sammy tires out, he is ready for cuddling and naps.
This sweet boy would probably prefer a home with other cats but no dogs. Come meet silly boy Sammy at our open house or apply to adopt him online here.
REILLY'S RETAIL STORE
Introducing Reilly's ReTail Store, a haven for shelter friends! Reilly, our eco-conscious companion, is on a mission to ReCycle, ReUse, and RePurpose items.
Located in the shelter's entrance, this small store rescues unused donations, unexpected finds, and handmade goodies, including the beloved catnip-filled fleece mats. We welcome small donations, especially at the start. Non-handmade items are priced competitively and reduce over time until sold.
